According to congress that the decision of demolition was made unanimously by Rajgarh Municipality which is being ruled by the BJP. The district administration also stated in his statement that the decision to remove encroachment was taken according to the master plan.

In his clarification, the collector of Rajgarh said that the decision to demolish the temple at Rajgarh was taken after the resolution passed by the Rajgarh municipality unanimously on the 8^th of September last year.

The collector also mentioned that all the encroachers were given prior notice. According to the statement of the collector one private temple was made over a drain and the encroachers themselves removed the idols before the drive took place. He also stated that small parts of an old temple were also demolished as it was causing traffic problems. He also stated that the sanctum sanctorum of the temple is intact and the idols that had to be moved will be relocated.

The new JDA officer Ravi Jain has directed the engineers to complete the project on the given deadline and has been monitoring the project continuously since then.

According to the comments of one of the officials the delay in completion of the project was due to the company was facing financial problems. The commuters from Ambedkar Circle will be able to ascend at Nandpuri and 1. Km long elevated structure has been constructed for commuters commuting from Ajmer Road end.
